This was adapted from a recipe for extremely large jars – this version fits into a 2lb jam jar, which makes a nice present for someone who likes baking, but is short of time (doesn’t it Laura?).
All measurements are in volume, for obvious reasons.
Ingredients:
In the Jar
Layer the following ingredients into the jar (or if you’re just baking the brownies, stick them straight in a large bowl).
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup vanilla chips
- 1/3 cup walnuts
Wet Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1tsp vanilla essence (optional)
Recipe:
- Combine the contents of the jar with the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
- Pour into a greased 8″ x 8″ tin.
- Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
